With the weather warming up, all I’ve been wanting to wear are dresses, shorts and sandals. The perfect place to shop for these? Free People. Free People always gets me inspired for spring and summer fashion with their flowy bodies and floral prints.

When I went in a few weeks ago, I fell in love with this dress. The fit was perfect and it’s so easy to dress up or dress down. It’s one of those perfect throw on dresses that you don’t have to think twice about.

Also, I picked out the purple because how perfect is this dress for TCU football games?! Too early to start shopping for football season? I think not. This dress is going to be adorable with my Lucchese boots!

The Rebecca Minkoff bag didn’t get much love this summer, but I’m excited to bring it back out for spring. Other outfits that I wore with this bag are here, here and here!

And on a totally different note but a little PSA for you fellow bloggers and biz owners:

Instagram announced that they’re going to be changing how you see posts on Instagram. In the coming months, the posts you see are going to be ordered by “likelihood you’ll be interested in the content, your relationship with the person posting and the timeliness of the post.”

This means that if you have thousands of random followers who rarely engage with you because they don’t really even know who you are, you’re going to start seeing less engagement on your photos.

In order to continue to maintain and grow your engagement, it’s going to be really important that your followers are made up of your ideal client because she’s a person who is following you, wants to know what you’re up to and engages with you. She’s not a rando!

I have a few free resources available to you so that you can start prepping for this change – since we don’t exactly know when it’s going to officially roll out. One of my more in depth resources is my Instagram Webinar and I also have a 5 week course ($97) which dives in deep on creating your Instagram strategy so that it attracts your ideal client and keeps her around!
