A few weeks ago a few friends from college and I decided to take a girls trip to Seattle. We all know I don’t say no to a trip, so you can imagine how excited I was when we all booked our tickets for the weekend in Seattle! I had never been there before, but imagined it to be similar to Portland (read about last year’s trip to Portland here). When asked what we did over our 4 day weekend in Seattle, we basically just listed the places we went to eat. We pretty much went from restaurant to restaurant with a little sightseeing in between (which you can read about here)...but hey, that’s how vacations are supposed to be!
One of the highlights for all of us on the trip was going to Rachel’s Ginger Beer. The handcrafted ginger beer and moscow mules were absolutely delicious…we ended up going two days in a row and on the second day parked it there for a few hours. Rachel’s Ginger Beer is by the farmer’s market, so Christine ran across the street to bring us dinner from Beecher’s. This is a must go to spot for cheese lovers!
Another great spot was Lola for brunch. Lola is a greek-inspired restaurant that serves traditional brunch during the day. While the girls did order a more traditional brunch, I couldn’t resist ordering Tom’s Big Breakfast which included mediterranean octopus. I love octopus and I’m not afraid to order it at brunch! It’s also important to note here that this is where we had our first stop for donuts. They make some delicious homemade donuts that you must try! The second stop for donuts was at Top Pot, which I later realized we had one in Dallas!
