Spring is just around the corner, but it’s hard to believe with how cold it’s been. Even in Los Angeles we have a week of forty degree temperatures ahead of us. I am so ready to bring out my spring wardrobe so I’ve been trying to play with ways to make spring clothes wearable during these cold days. This is where spring sweaters come in. I love spring sweaters because They’re great layering pieces that tie together your winter and spring clothes. For example, A soft blue sweater looks great with a pair of leather pants and boots. By swapping out a dark sweater for the blue one, you’ve instantly changed the mood of your look.
Lately I’ve been gravitating towards soft pink spring sweaters. I especially love the look of a soft pink sweater with white distressed denim. This J. Crew sweater is perfect for this look that I’m dying to have. If you’re looking for new pair of white jeans to take you into spring, my current favorite is this Rag & Bone pair.
Grey is a year-round neutral. In my last outfit post, I shared my oversized grey sweater. As I transition this sweater to spring, instead of wearing it with leather pants, I plan to through it on over white or light wash denim.
Blue and White
Blue and white is trending for 2015 and I couldn’t be more exciting. It’s such a sophisticated combination that can really make a statement. You can go the traditional route and pair a navy sweater with white jeans. Personally, I’m loving the navy and black combination and am excited to try out a navy spring sweater against black leather pants!
