Two weeks ago, I was in Houston for a week long work trip. Houston is no new place to me. I lived there until second grade and have made yearly visits since then. While I am familiar with Houston, being there for a week exposed me to new parts of the city and all it has to offer.

What stood out to me the most about Houston is how different it is from Dallas. Houston is an incredibly diverse city and it’s something that you notice within the first five minutes of being there. Highlights from the trip include brunch at Tiny’s Boxwood, dessert at Sweet, exploring the antique shops in the Heights neighborhood, and the Museum of Fine Arts.
